Sutter Home Tailgating 2010 Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”)
OFFICIAL RULES
1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED, INCLUDING CALIFORNIA AND PUERTO RICO. Sweepstakes begins August 1, 2010 at 12:00 Noon DST and ends October 31, 2010 at 12:00 Noon PST. Sweepstakes is offered only in the United States and is open to legal U.S. residents 21 years of age or older at time of entry.
2. ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes open to legal residents of the United States (excluding residents of California, Puerto Rico and all U.S. territories and possessions) who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry and who, for those entering via Internet, had Internet access prior to August 1, 2010. Employees of Sutter Home Winery, Inc. and AmeriGas Propane, Inc. (‘Sponsors”), members of employees immediate families (spouses and parents, siblings and children and their spouses) of Sponsors, their affiliates or subsidiaries, their advertising agencies, licensed alcohol beverage retailers and wholesalers, or any other alcohol beverage licensee, and any other company involved with the design, production, execution or distribution of this promotion are not eligible. Entries not meeting all of the requirements stated herein will be disqualified and ineligible. All federal, state and local rules and regulations apply.
3. ENTRIES. Internet entry: Go to www.sutterhome.com and look for the Tailgating Sweepstakes entry icon. Tennessee residents can only enter via U.S. Mail. Follow the instructions to enter the Sweepstakes. One entry per person, email address, or household. Should multiple users of the same e-mail account enter the Sweepstakes and a dispute thereafter arises regarding the identity of the entrant, the authorized subscriber of the e-mail account at the time of entry will be considered the entrant. Authorized account subscriber is defined as the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization which is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses or the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or like means to enter the Sweepstakes will void all entries affected by such methods. Sponsors and their agencies are not responsible for unauthorized human intervention, phone, technical, network, electronic, computer, hardware or software failures, malfunctions or disconnects of any kind, or misdirected, illegible, incomplete, stolen, garbled, fragmented or delayed internet/e-mail computer transmissions or network/ISP/website internet accessibility; or for inaccurate, incorrect or incomplete capture of entry information.
For entry by US Mail: Enter by printing or typing your name, address, telephone number, and date of birth on a 5”x 3” index card and mail to: CMS, Program ID SHTGTRIP10, PO Box 426008, Del Rio, TX 78842-6008 Entry must be postmarked no earlier than August 1, 2010 and no later than October 31, 2010. One entry per person, per address, per envelope. Sponsor and its agencies will not be responsible for incomplete, illegible, lost, late, postage-due, misdirected or mutilated entries.
4. PRIZE(S). One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive a trip for six (6) to Sutter Home Winery in St. Helena, California. The prize includes: Six (6) round-trip coach airfares for the winner and five (5) guests (guests must be legal U.S. residents, 21 years of age or older, and not residents of California, Puerto Rico or any U.S. territory or possession) from the gateway city nearest the winner’s or guest’s home to a major airport near Napa Valley, two rental cars for ground transportation, a one-thousand dollar ($1,000.00) Visa debit card for meals and incidental expenses (alcoholic beverages excluded) two-night’s double occupancy (three rooms) accommodations for a weekend (Friday and Saturday) in January 2011. The weekend is an educational seminar on how to throw the ultimate tailgating party. Winner and guests will learn how to prepare and cook beef and become the ultimate party host. To get you started on hosting your parties, the prize includes rebate coupons, good for one year, for Amerigas propane cylinders including one spare cylinder and up to ten exchanges. Approximate retail value (ARV) $10,000. No alcoholic beverages are included in the prize. All taxes, airport surcharges, departure taxes, food and beverages, personal activities and personal expenses such as telephone calls, meals and purchases and any expenses not mentioned are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winner will be selected from among all eligible entries received in a random drawing on or about November 15, 2010. The drawing will be conducted by an independent judging organization. Odds of winning the prize is determined by the number of eligible entries received. No cash or other substitution may be made, except by the Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize in whole or in part with another prize of comparable or greater value if the intended prize is not available for any reason as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion.
5. GENERAL: Grand Prize winner will be notified by phone, e-mail and/or certified mail. Grand prize winner and guests will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release and return it within seven (7) days of attempted delivery or an alternate winner may be selected. Winner consents to the use of his/her name, voice and/or likenesses by the Sponsor for advertising purposes without additional compensation unless otherwise prohibited by law. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost or misdirected mail or illegible information. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes. By entering, participants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, which are final in all respects. By participating in the Sweepstakes, participants and winner release Sponsor and its parents, partners, affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, agents, employees, advertising agencies and all others associated with the development and execution of the Sweepstakes from and against any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from the Sweepstakes and/or use of the prize, including, without limitation, liability for personal injury, damage or loss.
6. WINNERS’ LIST: The name of the Grand Prize winner will be available at: www.sutterhome.com on or about December 15, 2010. Sweepstakes is sponsored by Sutter Home Winery, Inc., St. Helena, CA (the “Sponsor”).
